In 2011 the revenue of the company increased by 37%, EBITDA – by 49%, and net profit – by 4 times.

The Memorandum, signed during RUSAL delegation's visit in Québec, foresees the possibility of creation of a joint venture to develop the aluminous clay deposit, owned by Orbite Aluminae, located in Grande-Vallée, near Murdochville town in the Province of Québec in Canada, and a construction of an alumina refinery. RUSAL may also get exclusive rights to use the respective alumina production technologies in Russia after its necessary adaptation to Russia-specific ores.
